One newly confirmed case can be an 18-year-old man from East Java Province. He created symptoms on 6 Might and was hospitalized on 17 May. He is now recovering. The investigation discovered a history of contact with dead chickens in his house within the week ahead of symptom onset. No more cases of influenza-like disease have been identified through the monitoring and investigation of his close contacts.
